Kudos to: Kyle, for being the only one in the class to get all questions correct on the quiz. And thank you to Rumaisa for sweeping up 3,000 shards of soap. Kudos to Paige and Sky for doing a spontaneous thank you to Mr. Livingston. Final kudos to: Emily, Paige, and Rachel for teaching me what Wattpad is.
QOTD: "Hey guys, can we stay FOCUSED please?!!" - Jordie, during the health assignment.

Math:
- Play Orbit Integers! https://www.arcademics.com/games/orbit-integers
- Many kids had difficulty with today's Math quiz and I would like them to re-do it on Monday. Here are the questions from today's quiz:
a. (-1)(2)(-4)
b. (-3) x ____ = 27
c. -1, 3, -9... What are the next three numbers (this is using MULTIPLICATION)
d. Two numbers have a product of -100, but their sum is -21. What are the numbers?
To figure this last one out, list all of the factors of -100:
a. 10 x -10 (or -10 x 10)
b. 1 x -100 (or -1 x 100)
c. 5 x -20 (or -5 x 20)
d. 4 x -25 (or -4 and 25)
Look at a-d, and add each pair together. ONLY one of these will add up to -21: (-25) + (4)
We took up the questions after the quiz. Please take a look at your child's work this weekend.
Here's a practice quiz you can do:
a. (-3)(-1)(-2)(-3)
b. (-5) x _____ = 25
c. 2, -4, 8....next three numbers
d. Two numbers have a product of -12 but a sum of 1. What are the numbers?
- We will be having our integers test the Monday after Halloween. It will cover the following topics: adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing integers. There will be word problems...

History:
- On Wednesday, we will be having a test. It's only one question, and I have given the class some guidance as to what could be the question. It will be a paragraph response. For the grade 7s, they should be studying their notes about Champlain and Cartier, while the grade 8s should be studying their notes about John A. Macdonald. Anything raised in the debates will be helpful!
