Housekeeping: 


- We are collecting donations for Terry Fox in preparation for the event this coming Friday.  If you feel so inclined, please send in your donation with your child!  Image result for terry fox
- Your child's diagnostic results came home in a SEALED envelope.  Please read it over, sign the tear-away portion, and return it to me.  If I have any serious concerns I will be contacting you to set up a quick meeting. 

- Thursday is "Meet the Creature"/"Meet the Teacher" night.  I will be in my class around 5:30 if you would like to come up and chat.  This is not time to discuss your child's individual progress (save that for the veggies aisle of No Frills!).  This evening is to go over the plans for the year, discuss how I evaluate, and ensure everyone is on the same page.

- Go to the site: https://www.coolmath4kids.com/math-help/fractions and pick a minimum of 4 lessons.  Follow them from beginning to end.

- "The Most" is due next History class (next Day 4).  As you are working on this activity, add more ideas to your notes ("who came before us," and "How have we changed?").  

- TWITN: Jordie, Nika, Helia, and MacKenna will be presenting next Day 4

Housekeeping : Man, I miss you guys!  Tomorrow, I will be sending a message to all parents via EDSBY which will include my office hours, how I will be teaching, and means of communicating with me.  Parents: through repeated efforts, I (with the help of some parents) discovered that when I send a group message via EDSBY, it's a one-way street; there is no way for parents to respond (kind of like a blog post).  As such, I will save Board-related messages for EDSBY, and daily work will be posted here on the blog.  You can always email me at marc.lemoine@yrdsb.ca any questions, and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.   KUDOS:  To everyone who respects social distancing QOTD:  "This should be over by March Break..."
