- Seedfolks Vocabulary test chapters 1-4 on Friday. I have added a review activity that mimics the style of the test you will see on Friday.
- I have put chapter 5 of Seedfolks on the GC. Read it!

- Ted Talks. Be ready to rock. Practice it many times (and in many different ways) this weekend. Look at the rubric.
- Reading Response #5 is due Thursday at midnight. Parents/Guardians: make sure your kids are reading EVERY night!.

Math:
- Grade 7 and grade 8: 6.2 (homework is in the textbook AND the notebook). This is due Wednesday morning.- We will soon be creating the graphs from the Data Management projects. If you have a minute, take a look at the results of your survey. Grade 7, you will be creating bar and line graphs and grade 8s, you will be creating a scatterplot.
- New UTS signed by Wednesday
Geography:
- Grade 8: Canadian Citizenship test - some kids didn't finish it
- Grade 7 and 8: there will be a map of Canada test for our first geography class. Students need to know all provinces, territories, and capital cities. For a higher level, they have to be able to draw the provincial divisions on a blank map of Canada. Here is are a few links for you to practice:

2. Link 2 (this one makes you type the names - excellent practice)
3. Link 3 (this is a customizable quiz)
4. Link 4: (best link ever! You can test names of provinces, capitals, territories - you can even drag the shapes into place like a puzzle!). For those who wish to tackle the level 4 test, this is the one to practice! Be warned, it's really loud so turn down your speaker.
