- Good copy of the letter to our LBP buddies is due tomorrow.  Please have it ready to hand in.

- Select Ted Talk that you will be "presenting" to the class.  Due Thursday.  Add your link to the class document found here

- Reading Response #3 is due Thursday (done on paper please)

- Time in class will be given tomorrow to finish the Seedfolks Chapter 3 write-up.

Math:

-  Grade 7 and grade 8: Time in class will be given tomorrow to finish the survey questions

History:

- Grade 8: Canadian citizenship test on Monday, Feb. 3.  Must score over 80%.  Canadian Citizenship Test Practice here or here or even here.  You will be tested on the first one from the list (20 questions).  

 - Grade 7: here's a link to a little online quiz about the war of 1812.  Some of the content will be new to you as we have not covered everything yet!  Here's the link.  Give it a try!

French:

- Practice reading your PSA aloud.  Time it to ensure it is under 20 seconds.  Finally, make sure you add a call to action.

Housekeeping : Man, I miss you guys!  Tomorrow, I will be sending a message to all parents via EDSBY which will include my office hours, how I will be teaching, and means of communicating with me.  Parents: through repeated efforts, I (with the help of some parents) discovered that when I send a group message via EDSBY, it's a one-way street; there is no way for parents to respond (kind of like a blog post).  As such, I will save Board-related messages for EDSBY, and daily work will be posted here on the blog.  You can always email me at marc.lemoine@yrdsb.ca any questions, and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.   KUDOS:  To everyone who respects social distancing QOTD:  "This should be over by March Break..."
