Housekeeping: 

- Grade 8: Pink Registration/Transfer form due Friday, January 24th.  If your child has lost theirs, you can pick one up at Aurora High or G.W. Williams.

 - Party for Courtney on Thursday.  If kids bring 3-$4 we can order some pizza!

- White button up shirt for the graduation photos on January 29th.

- A number of students did not complete the homework over the 4 day weekend - have your child show you the google class and prove that they handed it in on time!

- Thursday's Phys-ed class will be OUTSIDE!  Dress appropriately

English:

- Complete the first page of the Chapter 1 Seedfolks on the double-sided paper. Due tomorrow.  Seedfolks vocabulary quiz on Thursday.  Study the differences as much as the definitions!  There will be 7 questions on the test.

- 4 students did not complete the Seedfolks Vocabulary work which was due last Thursday.  That is homework.

- 5 students did not complete the Seedfolks: complete the video assignment: "Let's Meet the Author".   That is homework.

- Reading response for this week will be done in class.

Math:

-  Grade 7: 5.3 from the UTS (stem-and-leaf)

-  Grade 8: observations about the tables on the GC.  Due tonight at midnight.  

History:

- Grade 8: Residential Schools Vocab work is due Wednesday morning (it's on the GC)

- Grade 7:

- Grade 8: Canadian Citizenship Test Practice here or here or even here.  You will be tested on the first one from the list (20 questions).  

French:

- 

- 

Science:

-  Experiment grade 7 and 8 due Thursday (viscosity, density, and solutions)

Health/Phys-Ed:

- Practice reading your PSA aloud.  Time it to ensure it is under 20 seconds.  Finally, make sure you add a call to action. 

Art: 

- Be done the trading card in three weeks.


MUSIC: 

- 

DRAMA: 

- Present drama scripts this Friday.  Make sure it's memorized!

Housekeeping : Man, I miss you guys!  Tomorrow, I will be sending a message to all parents via EDSBY which will include my office hours, how I will be teaching, and means of communicating with me.  Parents: through repeated efforts, I (with the help of some parents) discovered that when I send a group message via EDSBY, it's a one-way street; there is no way for parents to respond (kind of like a blog post).  As such, I will save Board-related messages for EDSBY, and daily work will be posted here on the blog.  You can always email me at marc.lemoine@yrdsb.ca any questions, and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.   KUDOS:  To everyone who respects social distancing QOTD:  "This should be over by March Break..."
