- Paragraph for the novel: Egghead due Monday.  Students are to write their first impressions of the novel.  If they are stuck, here are some possible ideas: is the book realistic?  Are the characters stereotypes?  Will they be stuck in these roles all book long?  -What do you think might happen next? 41-81 words 

Math:

- Try the following math games/resources this weekend: prodigy, reflex, mathman, quia, ixl, khan academy, speed math, kahoot, kh math, cool math games
-Make sure you have completed the weights problem (1 - 40).  This should be in your math notebook.

History:

- Finish researching your 2 items for "We didn't start the fire".  This is due Thursday.-paragraph about "We Didn't Start the Fire" is due Thursday.  The assignment is on Google Class.

Housekeeping : Man, I miss you guys!  Tomorrow, I will be sending a message to all parents via EDSBY which will include my office hours, how I will be teaching, and means of communicating with me.  Parents: through repeated efforts, I (with the help of some parents) discovered that when I send a group message via EDSBY, it's a one-way street; there is no way for parents to respond (kind of like a blog post).  As such, I will save Board-related messages for EDSBY, and daily work will be posted here on the blog.  You can always email me at marc.lemoine@yrdsb.ca any questions, and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.   KUDOS:  To everyone who respects social distancing QOTD:  "This should be over by March Break..."
